For the first time after the bifurcation, the Chief Ministers of Telangana and the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh, K Chandrasekhar Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu respectively, will hold talks on Sunday.
According to sources, the meeting is likely to happen in Raj Bhavan in the presence of Governor E S L Narasimhan.
Chief Secretaries Dr Rajiv Sharma (Telangana) and I Y R Krishna Rao (AP), and Assembly Speakers Madhusudan Chary (Telangana) and Dr Kodela Siva Prasad Rao (AP) are also likely to attend the meeting.
The Chief Ministers are likely to discuss the contentious issues between the two semi-warring States. They include fee reimbursement, sharing of energy and water resources, and other matters of top importance. (INN)
