Bandi Sanjay alleged that the CM was promoting his own party by spending huge public money on publicity, and was giving ads to the media in return for blacking out the BJP from the news.
State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today alleged that the State government was banning the media from questioning the government on the people's issues and on its mistakes.
He also alleged that the CM was promoting his own party by spending huge public money on publicity, and that the CM was giving ads to the media in return for blacking out the BJP from the news.
He also alleged that agitating Opposition party leaders were being arrested and threatened by the government.
Sanjay made these remarks while addressing media persons after watching the final match of the 'Khelo Bharat - Jeeto Bhagyanagar' sports competition at the Nizam's College grounds in Hyderabad.
Sanjay said that not even a single media house of Telangana criticised or questioned the BRS government running the State, and that that could not be a coincidence, especially given the "rampant corruption" by the BRS.
For several months now, one of the top and oldest English newspapers in Hyderabad has been running stories about KCR and the BRS right at the top on the front page almost every day irrespective of their news-worthiness, lending credence to the BJP's allegations.
