BJP Telangana president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was a bigger virus than the novel coronavirus.
He made these remarks while addressing a public meeting at Mahabubnagar held protesting the issuance of GO No 317 by the state government.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the state government had issued the controversial GO just to harass the teachers of the state.
He also reiterated his claim that the CM had created clashes between the senior and junior employees of the state government through the GO.
He however asked the employees and teachers not to get worried, and said that the BJP would amend the GO as soon as it came into power.
He added that the party would hold a public meeting in the state capital against the GO very soon.
Sanjay also expressed surprise at the CM meeting the CPM and the AIMIM, both of which had opposed statehood for the Telangana region.
He said that KCR knew that the BJP would order an inquiry into his "corruption", and so was talking about a third front as he was scared of such an investigation.
