Hyderabad | 16th November 2020
Minister Satyavathi Rathod today said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was a real Hindu who was developing the temples of the state in a big way.

She was speaking after paying a visit to the Yadadri Lakshmi Narsimha Swamy temple and offering special prayers. The temple officials and pujaris offered the minister a traditional special welcome.

Later, she told the media that the KCR government was doing its best to bring back their past glory to the temples of the state.

The previous Congress government had ignored the temples in Telangana, she claimed. However, the KCR government was committed to developing the temples and protecting the state's culture and traditions, and was spending huge money for that, she said. The development of the Yadadri Lakshmi Narsimha Swamy temple on the lines of the famous Tirumala temple was a clear example of that, she said. The temple was getting ready with the best possible facilities and infrastructure, and the government would launch it very soon for the public, she added.
