Telangana Jagruthi President K Kavitha today said that the unemployed youth had entrusted power to the Congress in Telangana by believing Rahul Gandhi's promises, but now felt betrayed by the party.
Jagruthi today organised a protest at Gun Park, demanding justice for the unemployed youth and calling for an investigation into the alleged discrepancies in the Group-1 examinations.
A significant number of Jagruthi activists and Group-1 candidates participated in the protest.
During the event, Kavitha, who led the protest, said that the demonstration aimed to support Group-1 candidates.
"Rahul Gandhi came to Hyderabad from Delhi, sought votes by appealing to the unemployed, and subsequently deceived them. The job calendar remains unreleased, and the Group-1 examination was mishandled. Jagruthi will continue pressing the government until the exam is revoked. We will be arranging round-table discussions shortly. We urge the government to promptly revoke the Group-1 appointments and hold the exam again. It is essential to adhere to the Supreme Court's directives, as eight individuals from Andhra were appointed through a presidential order," she said.
