Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today said that his government had taken several measures for the welfare of the Kapu community in the State.
He asked Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham to cooperate with the government for the welfare of the Kapu community and not to fall into the trap of any person.
He was speaking in the context of the powerful Kapu community patriarch undertaking another fast for the BC reservation that the community has been aggressively seeking. The fast as forcibly broken again by the police and the leader arrested.
The CM asked Mudragada not to create any problems for the State which was already facing a difficult situation after the bifurcation.
