BRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today said that as he would be representing the Kamareddy Assembly constituency after the elections, unprecedented development would take place in it in the days to come, and the entire area would be transformed completely.
Addressing the Praja Ashirwada Sabha at Kamareddy, the CM said that he would not come alone to the constituency after the elections, and that electricity, educational institutions, industries and much more would follow him.
"Unseen development will happen here. Along with the town of Kamareddy, the outlines of the villages here will also get changed. It is my responsibility to make Kamareddy a wonderful constituency. I need your cooperation and support for the development of the constituency as well as the State," KCR said addressing the people.
The CM also vowed that he would bring abundant water to the Kamareddy and the Yellareddy Assembly constituencies in one and a half to two years, and provide irrigation facility to all the areas.
KCR also claimed that Telangana was only the State in India providing a monthly pension to beedi workers, and promised that the BRS government in its next term would extend the pension to all workers who had entered the profession newly.
The CM also slammed TPCC president Revanth Reddy for contesting from the constituency, and said that it was very shameful on the part of Congress leader, who had been caught red-handed with Rs 50 lakh in cash in the cash-for-vote case, to fight with him.
