Not to be outdone by the
D L Ravindra Reddy's belligerence, followers of the YSR Congress' candidate for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat Y S Jaganmohan Reddy also took to threatening the electorates of Kadapa.
The supporters of the President of the YSR Congress Party are reported to have man-handled voters in certain pockets of Kadapa, demanding that they cast their votes for Jagan's party.
Expressing her woes, a woman in the district said that her husband fled their house after being hit by Jagan's goons, and that he is yet to return home a day later.
Carrying a small child on her hip, another woman stated that the miscreants had barged into their houses and warned them of dire consequences if they did not vote for Jagan.
An old woman lamented that the residents in her locality were unable to walk freely on the streets or remain in their homes peacefully, as Jagan's supporters were harassing them.
It is ironical that the supporters of the very man who had promised to protect the residents of S V Colony, Kadapa, from threats on May 6th, have violated the freedom of choice of another section of the society 3 days later.
