Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR, Sircilla MLA and KCR's son) and Eetela Rajender were among those who expressed their suport to former Congress Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy's ongoing hunger strike for Telangana.
Lauding Komatireddy's fast, which entered its 7th day on Monday, K Taraka Rama Rao and Eetela Rajender basically said that the Centre ought to sit up and take notice of a person who has
sacrificed his Cabinet post for the Telangana cause, and who is now even ready to sacrifice his life.
KTR opined that Telangana Congress leaders are worse than crows - since, when a crow suffers, its fellow beings call the whole world's attention to its suffering, while Telangana Congress leaders are ignoring Komatireddy's endeavour.
He also said that it is unfair to slap a police case of suicide on Komatireddy - he questioned whether cases ought to be slapped on Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh as well for being responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Telangana students.
KTR and Eetela were among the leaders who called on Komatireddy at NIMS on Monday. The former minister is adamanton continuing his fast until a separate state is announced.
