No Irregularities In SGF Recruitment: Minister

Secondary Education minister K Parthasarathy says that there has been no irregularity in the appointment of the secretary in the School Games Federation.

Secondary Education minister K Parthasarathy on Friday denied reports that ineligible candidates have been appointed as secretaries in the School Games Federation without following the prescribed procedure.

In his reply to a question raised by MLA K Harishwar Reddy during Question Hour in the state Legislative Assembly, the minister said that as per the SGF guidelines, the inspector of physical education / lecturer in physical education / GCPE / institution of advance study in education / college of teacher educations in the state were eligible for the post of the secretary, SGFAP.

The minister further said that there were 21 BP.Ed colleges and 10 UGDPED colleges functioning in the state.(INN)
