Founder-president of Praja Santi Party and Christian preacher K A Paul today approached the Telangana High Court against the putting up of a large number of flexis by the ruling TRS leaders to celebrate the foundation day of their party.
In his petition, Paul urged the HC to issue directions to the officials concerned for the removal of the flexis put up across the city, in violation of the rules.
He also urged the HC to issue orders for the registering of criminal cases against all those who had put up the flexis.
Pointing out that the State government had issued orders banning the display of the flexis in public places, he alleged that the TRS leaders had violated the orders of the State government with impunity, putting up flexis even in the middle of the roads.
