Jana Reddy Congress' Telangana Opposition Leader?

Congress senior leader and former minister K Jana Reddy is most likely to get the post of the Leader of the Opposition in the Telangana Assembly.
The Congress party is likely to convene the meeting of its Telangana legislature party next week to elect a new CLP leader.
According to sources, the Congress might shortlist 3 candidates for the post including Jana Reddy, former minister Dr J Geetha Reddy and former Deputy Speaker Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
While Jana Reddy won the elections from Nagarjunasagar, Geetha Reddy won from Zaheerabad and Vikramarka got re-elected from the Madhira Assembly segment.
With 20 MLAs in the 119-member House, the Congress party is the second largest party after the TRS that bagged 63 seats to form the government.
The TDP has 15 MLAs, MIM has 7, BJP has 6, YSRCP has 3, Bahujan Samaj Party has 2 and CPI and CPI(M) have 1 each, in the Telangana Assembly.
One independent candidate - Donthi Madhava Reddy - got elected from the Narsampet seat. (INN)
