Jagapathi Babu Vows To Take Lodha Builders To Court

Tollywood actor Jagapathi Babu, who stays at the popular Lodha Apartments in Kukatpally, has alleged that many buyers of the flats were taken for a ride by the "unscrupulous" builder.

Speaking to mediapersons today, Babu said that while Lodha Apartments was a gated community, the owner was illegally seeking to merge the abutting apartments into his so as to make money. This was not going down well with the residents of the gated community because they would have to compromise with the security and quality of living within the community, he said.

Babu said that many affluent people had bought the apartments believing the claims of the builder that they would construct ultra-modern posh apartments in the ten-and-a-half acres plot in Kukatpally, exclusively for celebs and opulent people. But shockingly, Lodha Builders constructed Meridian Apartments in three of the 10.5 acres. He also alleged that the builders had ruined their privacy by constructing a compound wall in utter violation of GHMC Building Rules.

Taking the "cheating" by Lodha Builders seriously, Babu said that he and the others would lodge a complaint with the GHMC Commissioner first, and fight till they got justice. He said that they would knock the doors of the courts if the GHMC authorities ignored their complaints.
