"Jagan's Resignation Grave Concern"

BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu said that Jagan's resignation might lead to a political crisis and curb the state's development.
Hyderabad | 5th December 2010
Expressing serious concern over the developments in the state Congress after the resignation of former Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, former Bharatiya Janata Party president and senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday stated that the state might plunge into crisis and lag behind in development.

Talking to media persons after garlanding the statue of former Union minister Parvataneni Upendra at a program at Banjara Hills Road no. 1, Venkaiah Naidu said that the Jaganmohan Reddy's resignation had changed the political equations in the state.

Stating that it was a major setback for the Congress party, Naidu predicted the party might split vertically soon.

The senior BJP leader stated that the development of the state would be possible with a stable and efficient government.

Though 3 Chief Ministers were changed within a span of 3 years, the development and welfare of the state had not improved, and there had been no efforts to redress people's problems by officials, Naidu pointed out.

Venakaiah Naidu asked the Chief Minister to allot 25% of funds in the budget to education and health sectors out of total revenue.

Condemning the police lathi charge on Dalits on Saturday night at Assembly premises, the senior BJP leader advised the Chief Minister to show his commitment in introducing the categorization of SCs bill in Parliament.

Stating that BJP would not back down till a Joint Parliamentary Committee is set up to probe the 2G spectrum scam, Venakaiah Naidu said that the Congress government had totally lost people's faith. He said that some of the Congress candidates had even lost their deposits in recent Gujarat and Bihar Assembly elections due to corruption and scams at the centre.

No need to write anything,it will spell doom for congress in A.P.Ask anu congress activist in Andhra the reply is the same. but MLA's will say there will be no effect of Jagan leaving the congress party. This is because MLA's are not bothered about party after 2014 but they want to enjoy the power until 2014.Thereafter who cares about congres?, Its written on the wall, the end of road for congress in Andhra and seema regions of A.P.It can survive in telangana,if telangana is given.
