After the physical attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, his "Memantha Siddham" (All Of Us Are Ready) bus yatra resumed today from Vijayawada.
The Chief Minister started the bus yatra after a day's rest on the advice of doctors.
A large number of leaders and activists gathered at the Kesarapalli camp after the attack on him. Apart from the leaders and activists of Krishna and NTR districts, several leaders from all over the State came for the CM's event today.
Jagan enquired about his well-being of the party leaders and activists on the occasion despite his own injury.
The party leaders expressed deep regret over the attack on the CM. They alleged that the opposition leaders, who were not able to bear to see the overwhelming response to the bus yatra, committed the atrocity on the CM, and told the CM that the YSRCP was sure to come back to power.
They also said that it was due to the blessings of the people that the CM escaped from the attack.
The CM told the leaders that such attacks could not be stopped, but that he had the blessings of the people.
"Let's take bold steps forward. No one needs to be discouraged. As part of the bus yatra, I will meet the leaders and the workers of the various constituencies from 9 am every day," he said.
