The CBI seeks permission to attach the properties of Jagati Publications, Indira Television and Janani Infrastructure Company, all of which are owned by Y S Jagan.
The Central Bureau Of Investigation, on Thursday, once again, filed a petition in the City Civil Court, seeking permission to attach certain properties of Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in the disproportionate asset cases; and those of Sunil Reddy and Koneru Prasad in connection with the Emaar-APIIC land deal.
The investigation agency filed the petition after getting details from the registrars concerned, with substantial documents as proof.
In the petition, the CBI sought permission to attach the properties of Jagati Publications, Indira Television and Janani Infrastructure Company, all of which are owned by Jagan.
It may be mentioned here that the court had, earlier, rejected the petition on the ground that the investigating agency did not furnish necessary documents related to the properties sought to be attached.
The CBI also sought the court's permission to attach properties of industrialist Koneru Prasad and Jagan's close aide Sunil Reddy, in the Emaar Properties scam. Both Prasad and Sunil have been arrested in the Emaar case, and are currently in jail. (INN)
