Jagan Questioned On Day 1 By CBI
The CBI questions him regarding the Rs. 124 crore that was invested by 6 different firms into his companies, including Jagathi Publications.

Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, on Sunday, faced intense questioning by the Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) with regard to the investments into his companies from Mauritius.
Excluding a break of 20 minutes, Jagan faced tough questions in connection with the disproportionate assets case, by a team of CBI officials, led by SP Venkatesh.
On the first day of its 5-day custody of Jagan, the CBI questioned him regarding the Rs. 124 crore that was invested by 6 different firms into his companies, including Jagathi Publications.
The YSR Congress party president was taken into custody by the CBI, from the Chanchalguda Central Jail, at around 10:30am on Sunday.
Clad in a white shirt, a clean-shaven Jagan greeted media persons with folded hands, before the CBI took him into a waiting vehicle.
He was taken to the Officers' Mess in the premises of the office of the Director General of Prisons, at Chanchalguda. He was questioned in the presence of his lawyers.
Meanwhile, Jagan's wife Bharati called on him during the lunch break, at the Officer's Mess.
After being questioned till 5pm, Jagan was taken back to the Chanchalguda Central Prison. The CBI will resume questioning on Monday, at 10.30am. (INN)
