Congress MP KVP To Appear Before CBI

Congress MP K V P Ramachandra Rao has been summoned to court today by CBI, in relation to the disproportionate assets case of YSRCP president and Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. A probe into his assets has also been initiated.

A close associate of the late Chief Minister Y S Rajashekhar Reddy, Rao came under the scanner recently post allegations that he he had been influential in all decisions made by YSR. Also, the Congress MP is said not have amassed a vast amount of wealth not in keeping with his known sources of income.

If the allegations are proved, it is very likely that the Rajya Sabha member will be put under an indefinite arrest alongside Jagan, Mopidevi, Nimmagadda and others.
