The opposition demands the immediate dismissal of the 6 ministers who have been served notices by the Supreme Court in Jagan's disproportionate assets case.

The proceedings of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly were disrupted on Tuesday, with the opposition TDP members demanding the immediate dismissal of 6 ministers who have been served notices by the Supreme Court in the disproportionate assets case of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
As soon as the House met on Tuesday at 9am, MLAs of TDP, CPI and CPM moved adjournment motions separately over the issue, and demanded a discussion in the Assembly.
The TDP members rushed to the Speaker's podium while shouting slogans against the government. They demanded that the 6 tainted ministers be dismissed from the cabinet.
Legislative Affairs Minister D Sridhar Babu tried to pacify the TDP members, stating that the government was yet to receive a copy of the Supreme Court's notice, and that it would only then react.
He pointed out that nobody will be left in the House if one were to resign based on mere allegations.
He accused the TDP of wasting the time of the House. However, the TDP members continued the slogan-shouting. Following the uproar, the Speaker adjourned the House for 15 minutes.
When the House re-assembled at 10:40am, the TDP members resumed their slogan-shouting. Even the Speaker's assurance that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy would respond over the issue failed to bring the House to order.
After about 4 minutes, the Speaker adjourned the House for 30 minutes, while inviting floor leaders of all parties to his chamber for a discussion to break the deadlock.
The House assembled again at 12:30pm. But with the TDP members continuing their protest, within 3 minutes, it was adjourned for the day. (INN)
