J Geetha New Deputy CM?

Speculations are rife that J Geetha Reddy will be named the Deputy Chief Minister and Shashidhar Reddy will be the next PCC chief.

Minister For Major Industries and Sugar J Geetha Reddy will, in all likelihood, be named as the Deputy Chief Minister, while Sanathnagar MLA Marri Shashidhar Reddy will be the next Pradesh Congress Committee president.

According to highly placed sources, the Congress Core Committee has decided on the 2 names for the 2 posts.

The decisions have been taken after incumbent PCC chief D Srinivas met Congress president Sonia Gandhi at her residence, and is believed to have suggested Shashidhar Reddy's name as his successor. Srinivas is also believed to have expressed his support for Geetha Reddy's candidature.

Later, Shashidhar Reddy and Union Minister For Urban Development S Jaipal Reddy also met Sonia Gandhi.
