Damodar Raja Narasimha To Be Dy CM?
Belonging to a backward community from the region of Telangana, the pre-requisite to be Dy CM according to the Congress, Damodar Raja Narasimha may clinch the post.

With the Congress having decided that the post of the Deputy Chief Minister should be filled by a minister belonging to a backward community from the region of Telangana, it is the name of Damodar Raja Narasimha that tops the list of possible candidates.
Major Industries Minister J Geetha Reddy, who is considered to be one of those eligible for the post of the Dy CM, also belongs to a backward community, but was reportedly over-shadowed by Narasimha.
It has also been reported that Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President D Srinivas will be replaced by Transport Minister Botsa Satyanarayana. According to sources, Botsa intends to cling to his ministerial post even after he is made the PCC chief.
According to sources, Housing Minister Kanna Lakshminarayana was among those shortlisted for the post of PCC President, but he was dropped due to the fierce opposition of Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, an arch rival.
Kiran Kumar Reddy had reportedly lobbied for Uttam Kumar Reddy for the position of Speaker, but was forced to accept Nadendla Manohar as the Speaker after Congress In-Charge For AP Affairs was reportedly floored with complaints that the CM had allocated all prime portfolios to those belonging to the Reddy community.
Madhira MLA Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka is expected to be appointed as the Deputy Speaker.
It has been reported that the official announcement of those finalised to hold key positions will soon be made.
