The police have deployed a huge force at the Uppal cricket stadium for the IPL 10 final to be held today.
The final will take place between Mumbai Indians and Raising Pune Supergiant.
The Rachakonda police have taken over the stadium and conducted thorough checking since Saturday morning with bomb and dog squads. They have also deployed men inside and outside the stadium in a big way to ensure both crowd discipline and safety - 1,800 police personnel including 870 law & order policemen, 250 security personnel and 270 traffic policemen have been put into special duty for the final, and 88 CC cameras have been installed.
The police have also arranged special surveillance outside the stadium, including some special precautionary measures taken up for the first time.
