International Kite And Sweet Festival Begins At Parade Grounds

Cultural programs were organised to mark the occasion, and the people in large numbers visited the venue to take part in the celebrations.

A three-day-long "International Kite and Sweet Festival 2024" began at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad, today.

Minister for Tourism Jupally Krishna Rao and Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakar inaugurated the festival, and took part in the inaugural celebrations.

Cultural programs were organised to mark the occasion, and the people in large numbers visited the venue to take part in the celebrations.

About 1,200 varieties of sweets are being displayed at the sweet Festival.

Department of Culture Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramaiyer and Director Dr. Mamidi Hari Krishna, Department of Tourism Director K Nikhila and MD Ramesh Naidu, and others were present.
