Innova-Swift Collision Leaves Four Dead
A road accident that took place on the outskirts of Vikarabad district's Kodangal today claimed the lives of four people.

A horrific road accident took place on the outskirts of Vikarabad district's Kodangal today. The accident has claimed the lives of four people.
The mishap took place when two cars collided with each other - an Innova, which was heading towards Karnataka from Hyderabad, hit another car, a Maruti Swift, coming from the opposite direction.
The local police reached the spot and pulled out the dead bodies from the wreckage of the mangled car. They revealed that the deceased victims were identified as Abdul, Rasheed, Amir and Moulana Begum. All four were residents of Hyderabad's Yousufguda area.
While four passengers in the Innova died on the spot, one, reportedly identified as Baba, was critically injured. Five others, the passengers of the Swift, also sustained grievous injuries. All the survivors were rushed to nearby hospitals.
This is the second accident that took place in the state today. In another incident, a sand-laden lorry hit an RTC bus, which was travelling towards Bhupalapally from Hanmakonda, on the fringes of Shayampet mandal's Mandharipeta village, in Warangal district.
While 20 passengers of the bus sustained serious injuries, ten others sustained minor ones. The injured persons were rushed to the Parkal Civil Hospital and the MGM Hospital for treatment. The driver of the bus, P Ravi, and the conductor, J Ravi Kumar, were also wounded.
