IMD Forecasts Rains For Five Days In Telangana

The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted that Telangana will receive rains for five days.

According to the department, rains accompanied by thunder, lightning and gusty winds will occur across the State till May 18, except in Medak.

Rains are expected across the State on Wednesday, too.

A yellow alert has been issued for all the districts except Medak.

Light to moderate rains will occur in some districts on Tuesday. On Wednesday, there is a chance of light to scattered rain in some districts. On May 16, all the districts except Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Bhuvanagiri, Narayanapet, Jogulamba Gadwal and Wanaparthi are expected to receive rains. All districts except Narayanapet, Mahabubnagar, Jogulamba Gadwal, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda and Suryapet will receive rains on Friday.

With the IMD predicting the Southwest monsoon coming early this year, Telangana is expected to receive good rains during the monsoons too.
