The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board on Sunday informed that there was a good inflow into the Himayatsagar reservoir, constructed on the Eesi river.
At present, the level is 1752 ft as against the full level of 1763 ft, and the inflow is at 11656 cusecs. If the flow continued at the same rate, there would be a chance to release the water by opening the gates of Himayatsagar on Monday afternoon, the Board said.
People residing on the downstream side of the Himayatsagar reservoir have been requested to stay away from the stream and move to safer places. (INN)
