On the 9th anniversary of the 2007 Hyderabad bomb blasts in which 42 persons died and at least 54 were injured, several political activists and common citizens paid homage to the victims of the blasts.
People recalled with sorrow the fateful day when blasts occurred at two places in Hyderabad. On that day, the first bomb blast occurred at Lumbini Park in Khairatabad and the second occurred at Gokul Chat Bhandar in Koti. A banned Bangladeshi terrorist outfit Harkat-ul-Jihad-Islami was held responsible.
