The Hyderabad Metro has come up with a Dassara and Bathukamma offer to woo the residents of the state capital to use its trains.
The Managing Director of the HMRL N V S Reddy today announced that the Metro was giving a 40% discount on its regular fares as part of a "Metro Suvarna festival" offer.
He said that the offer would come into force from Saturday.
On the occasion, Reddy claimed that the Metro was a very passenger-friendly service, and that it had even run a special train service recently for a pregnant woman when the city had witnessed heavy rains.
He said that the train was run from the Victoria station to the Miyapur station just for the pregnant woman.
