Inter-State Cricket Betting Racket Busted, 3 Held
The Commissioner's Task Force of Hyderabad, along with the Chatrinaka police, busted an inter-state cricket betting racket and apprehended three persons.

Officers of the Commissioner's Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad, along with the Chatrinaka police busted an inter-state cricket betting racket and apprehended three persons.
They also seized cash of Rs 2,10,000 and three cell phones from the arrested persons.
The arrested pesons were identified as Jayesh Rawath, 29, of Boggulakunta and native of Rajasthan; J Rahul, 30, of Uppuguda; and T Nikhil, 31, of Chatrinaka.
Chakravarthy Gummi, DCP, Commissioner's Task Force, Hyderabad, said that prime accused Jayesh Rawath was doing business in pearls in the city. Due to financial problems, he decided to earn easy money by getting into IPL betting along with Prakash and Monu of Rajasthan, and purchased an online cricket betting app saphire.com for that.
On a tip-off on Tuesday that the accused were collecting huge betting amounts from punters near Chatrinaka Janda for the IPL match between GT and PBKS, police officers rushed to the spot and apprehended the accused.
The arrests were made by S Raghavendra, Inspector, South Zone; and Sub-Inspectors N Srishylam, V Narender, K Narsimulu and P Seenaiah of South Zone Task Force, Hyderabad; along with the Chatrinaka police.
