Cricket Betting Racket Busted In Hyderabad, 3 Held
Rs 1,20,000 in betting cash and three mobile phones used for betting were seized.

Sleuths of the Commissioner's Task Force, Central Zone Team, Hyderabad, along with staff of the Domalguda police station, today conducted a raid on an organised online cricket betting den located at Pawani Lingaiah apartments, Street No 8, Himayath Nagar, and arrested Sriraj Boob (a bookie), Hondmane Sainath (a sub-bookie) and Regalla Gopinath (a punter) who were involved in cricket betting activities.
An amount of Rs 1,20,000 in betting cash and three mobile phones used for betting were seized.
For the IPL cricket matches, the main accused Sriraj had purchased access to the betting platform www.radheexch.com from an overseas agent. He shared the login credentials with punters for live betting, and provided them ball-by-ball scores and betting odds. The accused clandestinely collected the betting amounts from the punters and transferred the proceeds to the main bookie for a commissions.
On April 30, the accused were found organizing and accepting cricket betting amounts - both directly and indirectly - through the online platform for the ongoing IPL match between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings. Acting on a tip-off, police apprehended the accused and seized the aforementioned material from their possession.
Previously, Boob and Sainath had been arrested in similar cricket betting cases. The accused, along with the seized material, were handed over to the Station House Officer, Domalguda Police Station.
