Hotel Booked For Improper Maintenance Of Lift
Eight persons received severe bleeding injuries in Kinara Grand Hotel in Nagole when the lift crashed suddenly into the parking area from the 4th floor.
The Nagole police registered a case against Kinara Grand Hotel in Nagole for improper maintenance of machinery, which caused danger.
The police said that at 3 pm on Sunday, on the occasion of an engagement happening at the hotel in Alkapuri crossroads of Nagole, eight persons - Veerabrahmam (32), Ravi Shanker Reddy (32), Manikanta Guptha (32), Manohar (32), Shajeed Baba (32), Kalyan Kumar (32) and two others - who were taking the lift in the hotel crashed suddenly into the parking area from the 4th floor due to the failure of the lift, caused due to negligence by the hotel.
The eight persons received severe bleeding injuries. Upon hearing their loud noises, the people there immediately broke open the lift doors, called 108 and shifted them to the Kamineni Hospital in L B Nagar for treatment.
A case was registered against the hotel in this regard, and investigation is under process.
