A fire broke out in the Begumpet Lifestyle building this afternoon.
The oil next to a gas cylinder caught fire in the kitchen of Aurora Banquets Hotel on the first floor of the building.
The staff and customers rushed out in panic. And as the fire safety alarms went off in all the shops in the building, alarmed shopkeepers closed their shutters and ran out.
Fortunately, however, there was no loss of life or property in the accident.
Upon receiving the information, the Panjagutta police reached the spot and started investigation into the cause of the fire.
