A 19-year-old house wife was found hanging from the ceiling of her residence in the Shettynagar area of Dammaiguda.
According to the Keesra police, the woman, identified as R Hemalatha, wife of Ankaiah, resorted to the extreme step due to severe stomach pain which persisted for the past few weeks.
During the early hours of Thursday, the deceased reportedly hanged herself to the ceiling fan and died on the spot at her house.
Keesra police registered a case, and the dead body was shifted to the Gandhi hospital mortuary for a postmortem after an autopsy.
