The Met in Hyderabad cautioned the people to be careful in the coming three days due to a heat wave being anticipated.
The weather officials also said that the temperature in Nizamabad and Adilabad districts would cross 45 degrees Celsius.
Today Nizamabad registered 44.5 degrees, Medak 44, Ramagundam 43, Khammam and Nalgonda 42 each, and Hyderabad 41 degrees.
The temperature was increasing due to the decrease of moisture in the air and lack of surface troughs, the officials said, and predicted the further rise in the coming three days.
Meanwhile, doctors also cautioned the people to be careful in the coming days as the heat could cause headaches, severe fever, dry skin, sleepiness, vomiting, fits and loss of consciousness. They asked people not to venture outside during the middle of the day when the temperatures would be high. They also suggested that aged people and children stay in their homes.
