Telangana Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma on Thursday said that the State government would soon resolve all issues raised by Home Guards in the State.
The Chief Secretary held discussions with members of the Home Guards Association on their demands and problems.
Sharma assured them that he would help resolve their issues after apprising Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on the same.
Speaking to the media at Secretariat, the home guard leaders said, "We have urged the CS provide us with job security, hike in salary, health cards, maternity leave for female home guards and work benefits on par with the Telangana Police," they said.
For those who came in late, the Home Guards took part in protest across the State to highlight their problems and get necessary succour from the government.
