Governor, CM Greet People On Holi
Governor E S L Narasimhan and Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy extended greetings to the people of AP, on the eve of Holi.

Governor E S L Narasimhan and Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, on Wednesday, extended greetings to the people of AP on the eve of Holi, wishing that the festival of colours be a harbinger of sustained peace, progress and prosperity in the state.
"Holi is a colourful and vibrant festival which strengthens fraternal bonds amongst the people and signifies peace and prosperity," the Governor said.
Narasimhan said that the festival was conducive to revitalizing relationships between the young and the old among all sections of people and across all faiths and customs.
"Legends associated with Holi are symbolic of the power of truth and of good triumphing over evil. I convey my greetings and best wishes to all the people of the state on this happy and joyful occasion," he said.
In his message of felicitations, the Chief Minister expressed hope that Holi would spread happiness and joy all around, and further promote love, harmony, fraternity and friendship.
The Chief Minister noted that Holi is one of the major festivals of India, and that is celebrated with enthusiasm and gaiety all over the country and wherever Indians are present in the rest of the world.
The Chief Minister said that Andhra Pradesh possesses a rich tradition of celebrating all Indian festivals, and that Holi signifies friendship, amity and brotherhood. The festival also symbolises the triumph of truth over evil and justice over injustice, he said. (INN)
