The Telangana High Court today expressed its anger against the state government over its handling of Covid-19.
It made it clear that it was giving one last opportunity for the state government to implement its (the court's) orders.
It asked the government to not test its patience on the issue, and warned it of dire consequences if it once again failed to comply with its orders.
The court asked the Chief Secretary of the state and the Principal Secretary of the Medical, Health and Family Welfare department to depose before it on July 28.
It also asked the state government to restore the website of the health department of the state.
A division bench of the High Court passed these orders while dealing with a batch of Public Interest Litigations (PILs) filed by different people of the state on the issue of the virus.
