Hyderabad | 3rd July 2018
The Hyderabad High Court today served notices on the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and on the Andhra Pradesh Endowments Department while dealing with a petition alleging that the TTD had dug inside the Tirumala temple for hidden treasures, that ornaments of the deity had disappeared, and that several transactions of TTD were opaque.

The petitioner urged the court to order a CBI inquiry into the allegations that the TTD was facing.

After perusing the petition, the High Court served notices to the TTD and the AP Endowments Department directing them to submit a charter of oath with full details within three weeks.

Bhupender Goswami from Gujarat and Anil Kumar from Andhra Pradesh (Guntur) filed the petition.
