The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) today said that light to moderate rains/thundershowers were likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana.
The IMD also said that heat wave conditions prevailed over many parts in the districts of Khammam, Warangal and Karimnagar, and that they would continue for two more days.
Most places of Telangana were likely to record maximum temperatures in the 40 to 45 degrees Celsius range in the coming five days, the IMD also predicted.
The highest temperature in Telangana recorded today was 46 degrees Celsius at Ramagundam. Temperatures of 45 degrees Celsius were recorded at Bhadrachalam and Hanumakonda.
