The Telangana High Court today adjourned the petition of BRS MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy against the Enforcement Directorate investigation into him, to January 5.
The court declined to pass interim orders issuing a stay on the ongoing investigation by the officials of the ED into the MLAs "poachgate" scam.
It issued orders to the ED asking it to file its counter in the case by the next date of hearing.
During the course of arguments, the counsel for the ED told the HC that the ED had issued a notice to the MLA seeking his appearance on Friday but that the MLA did not appear before it on that day.
The MLA did not appear before the directorate on Tuesday either, even after receiving the notices, the counsel added.
The counsel for the MLA on the other hand told the HC that the MLA had already appeared before the ED twice.
