Criticizing the State government's decision to hand over the probe into the illegal land dealings of Emaar Properties to Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), former minister and Congress MLA D L Ravindra Reddy stated on Thursday that it was not a good move.
Talking to media persons at the CLP Office, Ravindra said that with that decision, the list of accused allottees and those who were involved in the deals would not be revealed and the probe would not serve any purpose.
Reddy said that the APIIC's reports would cover up the names of the actual culprits who caused losses to the tune of Rs. 11,000 crore to APIIC.
The MLA demanded that the government order a CBI probe into the murky dealings to salvage its image.
