Guidelines For Rs 1 Lakh Assistance For Minorities
The Minority Corporation has been entrusted the responsibility of identifying the beneficiaries from the Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist and Parsi communities.

The Telangana government today launched a new scheme providing a financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh with 100% subsidy for all minority communities.
The State's Minority Corporation has been entrusted the responsibility of identifying the beneficiaries from the Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist and Parsi communities for the scheme.
Guidelines:
1. Applications received in the financial year 2022-23 through the OBMMS portal, but which are pending, will be considered in the financial year 2023-24 for the sanction of 100% direct subsidy of one lakh for each eligible beneficiary, to be executed through the Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation
2. Fresh applications will be called for from Christian applicants for selection of Christian candidates for the financial assistance.
3. The grant will be given to only one member from a family. The age limit for applicants is 21 years to 55 years as on June 2, 2023.
4. The annual income of the applicants may not exceed Rs 1.5 lakh in the rural areas and Rs 2 lakh in the urban areas.
5. The selection process will be completed by the District Level Monitoring Committee / District Level Screening and Selection Committee headed by the district Collector.
6. The district Collector will take the approval of the district's incharge minister for the scheme.
7. The selection list (phase-wise) will be displayed in TSMFC website.
The subsidy will be released as a one-time grant. The Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation, and the Managing Director, Telangana State Christian (Minorities) Finance Corporation, will take the necessary further action.
