AICC Telangana in-charge Manickam Tagore today alleged that the TRS and the BJP were two sides of the same coin in the state, and had a secret collusion.
He referred to the recent meeting of CM K Chandrashekar Rao and Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, and said that the meeting was evidence of the same.
He alleged that the Governor had declined an appointment citing Covid-19 to his party leaders who wanted to give her a memorandum on the farmers' agitation against the new agriculture acts, even though the leaders clearly said that the delegation would consist of just two or three senior persons. The party then said that if the Governor herself was not ready to receive the memorandum, they would present it at least to her Public Relations Officer or liaison officer. She however declined permission for even that, and did not even permit the leaders' leaving the memorandum at the Raj Bhavan entrance.
However, the same Governor easily gave gave an appointment to KCR, Tagore claimed.
He said that it appeared that the Governor had decided to not meet any Congress leaders.
