Governor To Address Session Of T Assembly, Council

Governor E S L Narasimhan's address will cover the policies and programmes of the new government, and a notification for the Deputy Speaker will be issued.

Telangana Governor E S L Narasimhan will address a joint session of the Telangana State Legislative Assembly and Council at 11am on Wednesday.

The Governor's address will primarily cover the policies and programmes of the Telangana government.

For the first time, the Governor's address will be held in the new Legislative Assembly building, as the old Council hall has been earmarked for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.

The notification for the election of the Deputy Speaker of the Telangana Assembly will also be issued on Wednesday, and nominations will be accepted from 10:30am to 5pm.

The election for the Deputy Speaker will be held on June 12. (INN)
