Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali said that the State government would not hesitate to spend money on the holiest Muslim pilgrimage.

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali today flagged off a bus carrying Haj pilgrims from the Haj House at Nampally to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad.

A Mecca-bound special flight was arranged at the Shamshabad airport earlier to carry 350 Haj pilgrims to the holy city this afternoon.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, Mahmood Ali said that the Telangana government would not hesitate to spend money on the holiest pilgrimage of the Muslim community.

This year, some 2,800 pilgrims from Telangana will be visiting Mecca.
