A female passenger who arrived at the RGIA airport on Wednesday from Dubai by flight no. EK524 was intercepted by customs officers at the airport who suspected something was amiss.
Upon personal and baggage search of the passenger, gold in paste form was found to be concealed in her rectum.
The gold weighed 272.98 gms, and is valued at Rs. 14,15,947.
It was seized from her under Section 110 of the Customs Act, 1962.
