Azad Unhappy With Kiran Kumar Govt
The high command has been particularly unhappy with the manner in which the state government dealt with the cases of Akbarudin Owaisi and Dr P Shankar Rao.
Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who arrived here on Monday met Ghulam Nabi Azad, the Congress in-charge of state affairs.
It is understood that Azad expressed unhappiness over the style of functioning of the state government.
The high command has been particularly unhappy with the manner in which the state government dealt with the cases of Akbarudin Owaisi and Dr P Shankar Rao.
There is a growing feeling that minorities and dalits are being distanced from the party. Should there be a snap poll, the support of these two sections is essential to keep the challengers TDP and YSRCP at bay.
Though the chief minister was called to discuss the Telangana issue, the road ahead for the 2014 polls will be uppermost in the minds of the high command. (INN)
