Former minister Dr P Shankar Rao, on Tuesday, alleged that former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was moving around like a "political orphan".
Speaking to media personnel, Shankar Rao condemned Kiran Kumar Reddy for stating that the Congress party had committed suicide in the Seemandhra region by dividing Andhra Pradesh.
He said that the Congress' decision will be welcomed by the people of Seemandhra in the near future, and that it would be Kiran Kumar Reddy who will regret speaking against the party.
He said that few legislators and MPs had been around Kiran when the latter had planned to launch a new party. However, Shankar Rao said, now almost everyone has abandoned him, thereby making him a political orphan.
Shankar Rao said that the new government of Telangana will order a probe into the irregularities committed by Kiran Kumar Reddy at the fag end of his tenure.
The former minister also advised Pawan Kalyan to refrain from making any comments against AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi. (INN)
