MPs' Meeting Postponed To March 25th
Congress In-Charge Of Andhra Pradesh Affairs, Ghulam Nabi Azad, has postponed the proposed meeting with Telangana and Seemandhra MPs meeting to March 25th.
Congress In-Charge Of Andhra Pradesh Affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad on Monday rescheduled the proposed meeting with Telangana and Seemandhra MPs, which was slated for March 22nd.
According to sources, the MPs' meeting was postponed since it was clashing with the Union Cabinet meeting on March 22nd.
As per the new schedule, Azad will meet the Telangana MPs and the Seemandhra MPs at 9:30am and 10:30am respectively on March 25th.
Earlier, Ghulam Nabi Azad had called for a meeting of the MPs from the state on March 22nd to find a solution for the separate statehood demand.
The meeting was seen as an attempt to pacify the parliamentarians on the issue of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
The MPs are said to be deeply divided on regional lines.
