The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on Thursday asked all traders in its limits to renew their trade licenses for the year 2011-2012 in any of the e-Seva centers and Citizen Service Centers in the GHMC limits.
According to GHMC, the deadline for the renewal of trade licenses without any penalty has been extended upto 30 August.
Traders can obtain trade license certificate from CSC or e-Seva centers by submitting a payment receipt number.
However, to renew trade licenses between 31 August and 30 October, a trader must pay 25% of the fee as penalty in addition to the original license fee.
Similarly, for renewals after 31 October, a penalty of 50% will be imposed.
However, the GHMC has warned that it would close establishments who have not renewed their trade license by 30 August.
Traders who have not taken trade licenses so far can approach the nearest e-Seva centers or Citizen Service Centers in GHMC Circle offices, and apply for them.
Further, traders who have got interim orders of the AP High Court on bulk garbage charges have been asked to approach the Joint Commissioner (H&S), at the GHMC's Head Office, for the payment of trade license fee, along with DD's. (INN)
